Users

What it's for

The Users page lists everyone in your organization. Use it to see each person's role and status, check when they last signed in, and invite new team members. When you invite someone, you choose their role and the workspaces they can use.

Who can use it

You need the Admin role (or higher) to use this page. The Users item appears in the sidebar under Administration only for admins. If someone without that role opens the page, they are sent away or see "You don't have permission to access this page."

See your team

The page title shows User Management and your organization's name. The table lists each person with:

Column What it shows
User The person's name and email address.
Role Admin, Manager, Member, or Viewer. Some accounts may show Super Admin or Superuser.
Status Active, Invited, Inactive, or Suspended.
Last Login The date they last signed in, or Never.
Joined The date the account was created.

To find someone, type a name or email in Search users....

Roles at a glance

When you invite someone, you choose one of these roles. They are listed from least to most access.

  • Viewer: the most limited role.
  • Member: the standard role for day-to-day users.
  • Manager: more access than a member.
  • Admin: can also manage users and workspaces, and can change organization settings such as branding and security.

Invite a user

  1. Click Invite User at the top right.
  2. Enter the person's First Name and Last Name.
  3. Enter their Email. This is required.
  4. Choose a Role. The default is Member.
  5. Under Workspaces, tick each workspace this person should be able to use.
  6. Click Send Invitation.

The window closes and the person appears in the list with the status Invited. Their status changes to Active after they accept the invitation and sign in.

Tip

Tick at least one workspace. A person who isn't added to any workspace can sign in but won't have a workspace to work in.

Troubleshooting

  • "No users found." If you typed a search, clear it or try different words. If the list is empty, invite your first team member.
  • The invite window stays open after you click Send Invitation. The invitation didn't finish. Close the window and check the list. If the person appears as Invited but didn't get an email, contact support rather than inviting them again.
  • The person never received the email. Ask them to check their spam folder. If it still hasn't arrived, contact support.
